dwiththeanna, D’Anna, is an intentional traveler who is taking her kids to all 50 states before their senior year. She enjoys hiking a family friendly trail, visiting historic sites and museums, finding the best spot to watch a sunset, and dining at local restaurants, wineries & breweries. Mermaids are her spirit animal.

A native of the lakes in northern Indiana she attended Purdue University Fort Wayne. (Go Dons!) After a social collegiate experience (without a diploma), she started her career, then blinked and 10 years had passed. She found herself married and had her first son, but not in that order. After her second son was born, she returned to college to finish what she started. A few multi-state road trips later, her family set a goal to visit all 50 states before the oldest son graduates high school. 26 down, 24 to go!

After countless people reaching out for travel advice and recommendations, she decided to start sharing what she has learned through her travel experience.

In her free time, D’Anna teaches Latinvia Dance Fitness and takes ballroom dance lessons with her husband. You can find her in the weight room or in a Zumba class when she isn’t on the dance floor.

You can find D’Anna traveling with her husband and two sons, her 3Ts, her rescue Great Pyrenes pup, Luna, and her BFF since third grade.
