With Sandals the typical Booking Tips do not apply, so here is my insight to help you save at Sandals Resorts.
First and foremost, become a Sandals Select member.
It doesn’t cost anything to enroll but it does start rewarding you with your first visit. You will earn points for each night you stay. These points can be redeemed to save on your next trip and after you pay for 70 night you earn a free 7-night stay! They also sprinkle in recognition gifts with the tier levels, including a bottle of Appleton Rum at each visit and working up to a 60-minute couples massage on your visits. As a Sandals Select member you will also be invited to a Returning Guest Dinner every Tuesday evening at each resort. This dinner offers a unique dining experience to get to know other guests and experience the culinary offers.
After becoming a Sandals Select member, you might want to consider the Sandals Visa Signature Credit Card.
This card offers triple points that can be used towards free nights and also has an introductory statement credit. Its typically $150 credit offer but this can vary.
We have decided to stick with our American Express Delta SkyMiles card (hello first class upgrades) but fully believe having a rewards travel credit card is to your advantage. I will share more on this in another post but for now, it is worth researching which rewards credit card best serves your travel goals. The Sandals Visa Signature Credit Card will definitely help offset the expense of Sandals vacations.
Finally, and this is a major one, do not book without checking the 777 offers under the Specials tab on Sandals website!
Each Wednesday Sandals releases a 7 day offer for 7% off room rate on 7 different rooms. This is THE way to secure a value price on some amazing room categories. You never know what will pop up so I recommend watching it for a few weeks before booking so you can see what becomes available. But, once something your interested in does show up, be sure to book it because they do “sell out” as they reach their quotas for the number of bookings. It is also important to note that some dates are not always available with a 777 due to the general booking calendar or the extend out you are looking to book. With 777, guests can get an upgraded room category for the same coast as the basic level room.
